4 cups seedless watermelon chunks (frozen)
1/2 cup coconut water or plain water
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
5-6 fresh mint leaves (optional)
1 tablespoon honey or agave (optional, if melon is not sweet enough)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare your watermelon by cutting it into cubes and freezing them for at least 2 hours to ensure a thick watermelon smoothie recipe consistency.
Step 2: Place the coconut water, lime juice, and optional mint leaves into the bottom of a high-speed blender.
Step 3: Add the frozen watermelon chunks on top of the liquid base.
Step 4: Blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds until the mixture is completely smooth and no large chunks remain.
Step 5: Taste and add sweetener if desired, then pour the watermelon smoothie recipe into chilled glasses and garnish with extra mint.
Notes
For a creamier texture, replace coconut water with 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt.
