Ingredients
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1/2 cup cream of coconut (e.g., Coco Lopez)
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1 cup ice cubes
Fresh pineapple wedges for garnish (optional)
Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Combine frozen pineapple chunks, cream of coconut, pineapple juice, and ice cubes in a high-speed blender.
Step 2: Blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high, until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If it's too thick, add a tablespoon of pineapple juice at a time until desired consistency is reached. If it's too thin, add a few more ice cubes and blend again.
Step 3: Taste the virgin pina colada recipe and adjust sweetness if desired. You can add a small amount of agave nectar or simple syrup if you prefer it sweeter.
Step 4: Pour the blended virgin pina colada recipe into chilled hurricane or highball glasses.
Step 5: Garnish each glass with a fresh pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry.
Step 6: Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing tropical drink!
Notes
For an extra frosty virgin pina colada recipe, chill your cream of coconut and pineapple juice in the refrigerator before blending. If you don't have frozen pineapple, use fresh pineapple and add an extra 1/2 cup of ice. Adjust sweetness to your personal preference.
