Ingredients

2 oz Blanco Tequila
1 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz Agave nectar (or simple syrup)
Coarse sea salt for the rim
Lime wheel for garnish
Ice cubes

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the glass by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into a plate of coarse sea salt.
Step 2: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
Step 3: Pour the tequila, fresh lime juice, and agave nectar into the shaker.
Step 4: Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the shaker is very cold to the touch.
Step 5: Fill the salted glass with fresh ice and strain the simple margarita recipe mixture into it.
Step 6: Garnish with a fresh lime wheel and serve immediately.

Notes

Always use fresh lime juice for the best flavor. If you find the drink too tart, add an extra teaspoon of agave nectar.
