Ingredients
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 cups mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, chopped (divided)
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (divided)
Assorted dippers (graham crackers, pretzels, apple slices, vanilla wafers, etc.)
Instructions
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, softened butter, and creamy peanut butter together until the mixture is completely smooth and well combined, about 2-3 minutes with an electric mixer.
Step 2: Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until fully incorporated. Once incorporated, increase the speed to medium-high and beat for another 1-2 minutes until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Step 3: Stir in 1 cup of the chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and 1/4 cup of the mini chocolate chips into the cream cheese mixture by hand. Fold them in gently to distribute evenly.
Step 4: Scrape the mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap. Gather the plastic wrap around the mixture and form it into a firm, round ball shape.
Step 5: Place the wrapped Reese Peanut Butter No Bake Dessert Cheese Ball in the refrigerator for at least 2-4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow it to firm up properly.
Step 6: Just before serving, unwrap the chilled dessert cheese ball. In a shallow dish or plate, combine the remaining 1/2 cup chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips.
Step 7: Roll the dessert cheese ball in this topping mixture, pressing gently to ensure it is evenly coated on all sides. Transfer to a serving platter.
Step 8: Arrange your favorite dippers around the Reese Peanut Butter No Bake Dessert Cheese Ball and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
For best results, ensure cream cheese and butter are at room temperature for a smooth, lump-free mixture. This dessert can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator, covered. Add the outer coating just before serving for the freshest texture.
