Fresh lemon, lime, and orange slices (for garnish)
Extra fresh mint, basil, rosemary sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Simple Syrup. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 cup water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool completely. For herbal simple syrup, add chosen herbs (mint, basil, rosemary) to the warm syrup and let steep for 30 minutes to 1 hour, then strain and cool. For ginger syrup, add ginger slices, steep for 15-20 minutes, then strain and cool.
Step 2: Juice the Lemons. Roll the lemons on a hard surface to help release the juices. Slice them in half and juice them using a citrus juicer. Strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any seeds or pulp. You should aim for about 1.5 cups of fresh lemon juice.
Step 3: Combine Base Lemonade. In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and the cooled simple syrup. Stir well. Add 3-4 cups of cold water, or more to taste, until you reach your desired level of tartness and sweetness. Remember, you want it a little strong as ice and additions will dilute it.
Step 4: Chill Thoroughly. Refrigerate the base lemonade for at least 2 hours, or until thoroughly chilled. This is crucial for optimal flavor.
Step 5: Prepare Flavored Purees. For berry puree, blend 1 cup of fresh or frozen berries with 1-2 tablespoons of simple syrup until smooth. Strain if desired for a seedless puree. For peach puree, blend peaches until smooth.
Step 6: Prepare Garnishes. Wash and slice a variety of fresh fruits (lemon, lime, orange, cucumber, strawberries, raspberries) and gather fresh herb sprigs (mint, basil, rosemary).
Step 7: Set Up the Bar. Place your chilled base lemonade in a large dispenser or pitcher. Arrange the various flavored purees and syrups (like berry puree, herbal simple syrup, ginger syrup) in smaller pitchers or jars next to the lemonade. Set out bowls of fresh fruit slices and herbs. Ensure you have plenty of ice, glasses, and stirrers. Label everything clearly for guests. Encourage them to mix and match their favorite lemonade bar recipes!
Notes
For the best flavor, make sure all components are thoroughly chilled before serving. Adjust sweetness and tartness of the base lemonade to your preference, keeping in mind that additions and ice will dilute it slightly. Encourage guests to experiment with different fruit and herb combinations!
