  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

4 ears fresh corn on the cob, husked and cleaned
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F / 200°C).
Step 2: In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chives, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. This is your flavorful herb butter for your corn on the cob recipes.
Step 3: Carefully spread the herb butter evenly over each ear of husked corn. Ensure all sides are coated for maximum flavor.
Step 4: Place the buttered corn directly on the preheated grill grates. Grill for 12-15 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes, until the kernels are tender and lightly charred in spots. For extra tender corn, you can first par-boil the corn for 5 minutes before grilling, then coat with butter and grill.
Step 5: Once cooked, remove the corn from the grill. You can add an extra dollop of herb butter if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious corn on the cob recipes!

Notes

For an even richer flavor, you can wrap the buttered corn in aluminum foil before grilling. This steaming method helps infuse the butter deeper into the kernels and prevents charring if preferred. Remember to turn the foil packets frequently.
