  • Total Time: PT10M
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

4 oz Blanco Tequila (100% Agave)
2 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
1.5 oz Triple Sec or Cointreau
1 oz Agave nectar
3 cups Ice cubes (standard size)
Coarse sea salt for the rim
Lime wheels for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Place your serving glasses and the blender jar in the freezer for 15-20 minutes to ensure they are ice-cold.
Step 2: Run a lime wedge around the rims of the chilled glasses and dip them into a plate of coarse sea salt.
Step 3: Pour the tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and agave nectar into the blender jar.
Step 4: Add the 3 cups of ice cubes on top of the liquid ingredients.
Step 5: Blend on high speed for 30-45 seconds until the mixture is smooth and no large ice chunks remain.
Step 6: Pour immediately into the prepared salt-rimmed glasses, garnish with a lime wheel, and serve.

Notes

For a thicker consistency, use frozen lime juice cubes instead of half the regular ice.
