Ingredients
2 large Naan flatbreads
1/4 cup basil pesto
1/2 cup fresh mozzarella pearls
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven during preheating.
Step 2: Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet or the preheated pizza stone.
Step 3: Spread a thin, even layer of basil pesto over each flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
Step 4: Distribute the halved cherry tomatoes and mozzarella pearls evenly across both flatbreads.
Step 5: Bake in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling and the edges are golden brown.
Step 6: Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with balsamic glaze.
Step 7: Garnish with fresh basil and red pepper flakes if desired. Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
For an extra crispy crust, pre-bake the flatbread for 2 minutes before adding toppings.
