Ingredients
1 lb Rotini or Fusilli pasta
1/2 lb thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 lb deli turkey breast, cubed
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 red onion, finely diced
2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse thoroughly with cold water to stop the cooking.
Step 2: In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, white wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the dressing.
Step 3: In a large salad bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cubed turkey, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and red onion.
Step 4: Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss gently until everything is evenly coated.
Step 5: Just before serving, fold in the chopped romaine lettuce to maintain its crisp texture. Season with extra black pepper if desired.
Notes
For the best results, let the salad chill for at least 1 hour before adding the lettuce and serving.
