Ingredients
1.5 lbs brussel sprouts, trimmed and halved
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and place a large rimmed baking sheet inside to get hot.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, toss the halved brussel sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
Step 3: Carefully remove the hot baking sheet from the oven and spread the sprouts across it in a single layer, cut-side down.
Step 4: Roast for 20 minutes without stirring, or until the bottoms are deeply browned and crispy.
Step 5: While roasting, whisk together the balsamic vinegar and honey in a small bowl.
Step 6: Drizzle the balsamic-honey mixture over the sprouts and toss gently on the pan.
Step 7: Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until the glaze is bubbly and thick.
Step 8: Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
Notes
For extra crispiness, ensure the sprouts are completely dry before tossing them in oil.
