  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 1.5 cups 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup high-quality mayonnaise
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon finely grated shallot
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 hard-boiled egg, finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare your aromatics by grating the shallot and mincing the garlic finely.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, and sweet pickle relish until smooth.
Step 3: Stir in the shallots, garlic, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika.
Step 4: Gently fold in the chopped hard-boiled egg if using, then season with salt and pepper.
Step 5: Transfer to a glass container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to develop.

Notes

For a smoother texture, omit the hard-boiled egg and blend the dressing in a small food processor.
