Ingredients
1 cup shredded sharp white cheddar cheese
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup fresh baby spinach, finely chopped and dried
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
Step 2: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar, grated parmesan, chopped spinach, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
Step 3: Toss the ingredients thoroughly until the spinach is evenly distributed throughout the cheese mixture.
Step 4: Scoop one tablespoon-sized mounds of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spaced at least 2 inches apart.
Step 5: Flatten the mounds slightly with the back of a spoon to ensure even cooking.
Step 6: Bake for 6 to 8 minutes, watching closely until the edges turn a deep golden brown and the centers are bubbling.
Step 7: Remove from the oven and allow the spinach dip cheese crisps to cool completely on the pan for 5-10 minutes to reach maximum crispness.
Notes
Always use block cheese and grate it yourself for the crispiest results. Avoid pre-shredded cheese if possible.
