  • Total Time: PT5M
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Ingredients

Scale

2 oz Blanco Tequila
1 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
0.5 oz Cointreau or high-quality Triple Sec
0.25 oz Agave nectar (optional, to taste)
Coarse sea salt for the rim
Lime wheel for garnish
Ice cubes

Instructions

Step 1: Prep your glass by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into a plate of coarse sea salt.
Step 2: Combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, Cointreau, and agave nectar in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Step 3: Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels very cold.
Step 4: Strain the mixture into your prepared glass over fresh ice.
Step 5: Garnish with a fresh lime wheel and serve immediately.

Notes

Always use fresh lime juice for the best flavor. For a skinnier version, omit the agave nectar.
