1 oz Blue Curacao
1 oz Grenadine
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
2 oz Pineapple Juice
Crushed ice
Lime wheel and maraschino cherry for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Fill a tall hurricane or highball glass to the brim with crushed ice to ensure your jamaican purple rain stays ice-cold.
Step 2: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the Jamaican white rum, lime juice, and pineapple juice.
Step 3: Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels frosty, which is vital for a perfect jamaican purple rain.
Step 4: Strain the mixture into your prepared glass over the fresh crushed ice.
