1 lb Cremini (Baby Bella) mushrooms, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the vegetables by washing the cauliflower and cutting it into bite-sized florets. Wipe the mushrooms clean with a damp cloth and slice them evenly.
Step 2: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat until the butter is melted and bubbling.
Step 3: Add the cauliflower florets to the skillet in a single layer. Let them sear undisturbed for 4 minutes until golden brown on one side.
Step 4: Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Stir and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and browned.
Step 5: Reduce heat to medium. Stir in the minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
