Ingredients
12 large fresh strawberries, washed and dried
1 cup dark chocolate melting wafers
6 mini marshmallows, cut into triangles
1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for thinning chocolate)
Red decorating gel or strawberry jam
Instructions
Step 1: Thoroughly wash the strawberries and pat them dry with a paper towel. Ensure they are completely dry to help the chocolate adhere.
Step 2: Melt the dark chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring until smooth.
Step 3: Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, coating about 2/3 of the berry, and place on a parchment-lined tray.
Step 4: Wait about 30-60 seconds, then press two marshmallow triangles onto the upper part of the chocolate coating to create fangs.
Step 5: Use a toothpick to dot a small amount of red gel or jam at the tip of each fang for a 'bloody' effect.
Step 6: Let the strawberries sit at room temperature for 30 minutes or in the refrigerator for 15 minutes until the chocolate is firm.
Notes
Always ensure berries are at room temperature before dipping to prevent the chocolate from cracking.
