1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp balsamic glaze
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
Step 2: In a large bowl, toss the trimmed and halved sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Step 3: Place the sprouts on the baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring the flat-cut sides are facing down for maximum browning.
Step 4: Roast for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze and honey.
Step 5: Toss the sprouts to coat them in the glaze and roast for an additional 5 minutes until dark and crispy.
Step 6: Serve immediately while hot for the best texture.
Notes
Always place the cut-side down for the best results. Do not crowd the pan or they will steam instead of roasting.
