Ingredients

Scale

2 balls of fresh Burrata cheese (approx 8oz each)
2 pints cherry tomatoes (mixed colors preferred)
4 cloves garlic, smashed
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Balsamic glaze (optional)
Crusty baguette or sourdough for serving

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for your baked burrata amazing roasted tomato bliss.
Step 2: In a medium-sized oven-proof baking dish, combine the cherry tomatoes, smashed garlic cloves, olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss well to ensure every tomato is coated.
Step 3: Roast the tomatoes in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the skins have burst and the juices are bubbling and slightly caramelized.
Step 4: Remove the dish from the oven. Carefully move some tomatoes to the side to create a space in the center for the baked burrata amazing roasted tomato bliss centerpiece.
Step 5: Place the burrata balls into the center. Return the dish to the oven for 3-5 minutes, just until the cheese is soft and warm but not completely melted away.
Step 6: Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze if desired. Serve the baked burrata amazing roasted tomato bliss immediately with warm bread.

Notes

Ensure the burrata is at room temperature before placing it in the oven to ensure even warming.
